Kelly graduated from Sports Management Worldwide’s Baseball GM and Scouting course in March 2017 and is seeking a position as a baseball scout. He has unofficially worked as a bird dog with one MLB organization since finishing the SMWW course and that small sample size of experience has only fueled his passion for landing a full-time position. Kelly recently has been invited to attend a major league tryout camp to meet some of the team’s scouts and get a feel for his knowledge of baseball while scouting potential prospects in the camp.

Baseball has been a passion for Kelly since a very early age when he first learned to put on a glove. Watching game after game as a young kid helped him develop a great understanding for the rules and how to play the game. An example of this was during a game, at age 6, Kelly turned an unassisted triple play while playing 2nd base. He currently coaches two youth baseball teams. Outside of baseball, Kelly has a degree in Management Accounting from Walters State CC and is currently working as the logistics coordinator for La-z-boy. This position is all about solving a wide variety of daily problems and adapting to change on a month to month basis to fit the company needs. Kelly is an honest, hard-working and dependable guy who would be a great asset to any team. He is very thankful for Sports Management Worldwide and looks forward to any and all future opportunities that come his way.
