My name is Paul Laberge, I grew up in a city in Canada called Lloydminster, AB, also known as the border city, because it is right between the two provinces Saskatchewan and Alberta.  I played hockey for 12 years, I had to quit playing the game of hockey because I had too many concussions. I started coaching for 2 years then my full time job got in the way, now I have a job that is more flexible and I have the time to go scout some hockey games. I travel a lot with my new full time job. I am currently scouting with the Lloydminster Jr.A Bobcats hockey club. I also scout for the SMWW in the Regina area, I watch a lot of Midget AAA and Bantam AA games.  I took the 8 weeks Hockey GM and Scouting course, I found all the material I learned at this course very usefu like learning how to work the two softwares that a lot of scouting staffs use in the Major Junior leagues and NHL, RinkNet and STEVA Hockey. I have a better understanding on how a General Manager picks his teams, and make trades, drafts, budgets etc. I am looking forward to have a sports career in hockey. I look forward to help your scouting needs, I feel I have a great eye for talent! Give me a try!
