Leon Dillard

In 2012, with the purpose of providing quality scouting, Leon W. Dillard searched for an industry to encompass his vision.  It was with that in mind Leon joined the Sports Management World Wide family as an independent scout.
As a native of Williamsburg, VA, Leon attended Bruton High School where he participated in four varsity sports (Football, Basketball, Baseball and Track) and obtained his advanced diploma in general studies in 1991.  Upon completion of high school, Leon continued his education by attending James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA where he played football and completed his degree requirements receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree (psychology) in 1995.
In 1996, Leon decided to serve his country in the United States Army (Military Police Corps.) completing his tour of duty in 2001.  Leon later return to the Williamsburg area where he became a police officer for the James City County Police Department (2001-2004), at which time he decided to return to the county in which he was raised to become a deputy sheriff for the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office (2004-2013) as a uniform patrol officer and school resource officer.  With a goal and vision, Leon continued his efforts by giving back to the community as a director/coach for the Boo Williams Summer League AAU Basketball program and Bruton High School Head Girls Basketball Coach. In (2011) came the inception of I'm Inspired Training which was a Skill Development Training Company and as of (2013), Leon has become a franchise owner and certified skill development trainer within the nationally acclaimed company I'm Possible Training (Micah Lancaster) operating in Phoenix, AZ.
Leon will now spearhead his efforts as an independent scout for Sports Management World Wide with the vision of providing quality service to those in need of a certified scout and/or skill enhancement training.
