Ken Jacobs (Melbourne, Australia), From 1980-2007 he was CEO of Cricket Victoria, in Melbourne Australia. Cricket Victoria is the largest participant State in Australian cricket with more clubs and, more people playing the game than in any other State of Australia. Cricket Victoria administers 1,182 cricket clubs and 112,000 registered cricketers in Victoria, with 62,774 children involved in school-based competition. As CEO, Ken oversaw the employment of more than 320 people, including 43 full-time staff and 25 contracted first-class players. Ken is a qualified accountant, a member of the Australia New Zealand Sports Law Association and was awarded the Australian Sports Medal in 2000 by the Australian Government for his services to cricket.
